World Record at the 2nd World Championship Qualifying Tournament at the „Islandpferde Reithof Piber“

St. Radegund, June 2011 – Shortly before 17 o'clock the time has come: Catherine Gratzl starts with her mare Blökk frá Kambi (IS2000287461), a 11-year-old daughter of Thorri frá Þúfu, out of the starting box at the Islandpferde Reithof Piber and reached an amazing time of 13.47 seconds over 150 meters - obtained under the eyes of the sporting director Marko FEIF Mazeland and confirmed by high-speed camera: World Record!

Conscientiously sports director Marko Mazeland examined the equipment under the microscope, and Karl Piber showed him the total route documentation, as well as the relevant timing data submitted by the professional time measurement ... and even if the confirmation of the representative of the tournament ÖIV, Rupert Petschina, written application for recognition of the record is still outstanding, the pace-fan Mazeland confirmed: "It all looks very good!"

Also the family Langaard from the stud Sunnaholt near Landshut is going to be very proud because of Catherine Gratzl’s triumph. Congratulations!
